The Yamaha DXS12mkII is a compact, tour-ready powered subwoofer that delivers tight, musical low end for modern PA systems. A band-pass enclosure and a custom 12" driver are powered by a 1020W Class-D amplifier (800W continuous) to produce up to 134dB SPL with fast transient response from 42–150Hz. Yamaha’s D-XSUB processing offers Normal, Boost, and Xtended LF voicings so you can tailor punch, depth, or extension to the room and program material. Natural-convection cooling keeps the system quiet and reliable in installed or portable rigs. With dual pole sockets (35mm and M20), rugged Meranti plywood construction, and a durable polyurea finish, DXS12mkII integrates cleanly beneath full-range tops while standing up to the demands of daily use by bands, DJs, and rental providers.
DXS Series subwoofers combine high-efficiency Class-D power, smart DSP, and robust wooden enclosures to deliver controlled, high-impact bass for professional sound reinforcement.
