StudioLive 24R Digital Rack Mixer

The PreSonus StudioLive 24R Digital Rack Mixer packs flexible Series III mixing, stage-box functionality, personal monitor integration, and multitrack USB recording into a compact 2U format. Designed for demanding live and studio workflows, it can operate standalone with Universal Control software, serve as a stage box with StudioLive Series III consoles, or work with EarMix 16M personal mixers. Its 40-channel digital mixing engine provides extensive control in a space-saving rack design. Routing is built for real-world flexibility, with 16 FlexMixes that can be configured as auxes, subgroups, or matrix mixes, plus four effects buses and four subgroups. The single-core PreSonus FLEX DSP Engine powers 40 mixing channels, 22 buses, 24 DCAs, and a total of 270 processors including Fat Channel plug-ins. Vintage-modeled dynamics and EQ are available on every input and bus, giving the 24R the depth and polish needed for refined live mixes and production work. The built-in 128-channel (64x64) bidirectional USB audio interface makes multitrack recording and plug-in routing straightforward, with one-button activation of playback streams for fast monitoring. A free firmware update adds Milan certification, an improved limiter with variable release, expanded Digital Reverb XL controls and presets, plus additional State Space Models EQs and analog-inspired compressors installed standard.
