AIR12 2-Way Active Sound-Reinforcement Loudspeaker

The PreSonus AIR12 2-Way Active Sound-Reinforcement Loudspeaker combines portable size with serious output for mobile and installed PA applications. Its 12-inch woofer and 1.35-inch HF driver are designed to deliver rich, extended low end and natural high-frequency extension, while 1,200W peak Class D/Class AB power provides the headroom needed for demanding sound reinforcement duties. Despite its output capability, the enclosure remains compact and lightweight enough to fit in the back of a small car. Built-in digital tuning functions make the AIR12 straightforward to adapt to different roles and spaces. Presets help tailor response for front-of-house mains, monitor wedge use, music playback, improved speech intelligibility, and enhanced low end with a warmer sound. Treble and bass controls offer up to 10 dB of boost or cut to help compensate for room anomalies, while location presets optimize performance for stand mounting, bracket mounting, and flown installations. The multi-angle enclosure is equally practical for portable rigs and fixed setups. Nonskid rubber feet support upright or monitor-wedge positioning, and the integrated dual-position pole mount allows either level aiming or a 7.5Ëš downward tilt. For installed applications, the AIR12 includes M10 suspension points with 2 top and 1 back flypoint, plus a top-mounted handle for convenient transport.
