The Dual Crossfading Players allow two Styles, MIDI files, or MP3s to run simultaneously in any combination, blended with the onboard crossfader. Powered by KORG’s exclusive XDS Crossfade Dual Sequencer/Player, this system enables smooth transitions, layered playback, or queued tracks with no breaks.
Lyrics, chords, score, and markers are displayed clearly on Pa5X’s large internal screen or an external monitor via HDMI. Automatic score generation from MIDI Songs and supported lyrics formats make rehearsals, study, and live performance more versatile and intuitive.

The Groove Import feature expands flexibility with audio-slices. Grooves can be sliced into more parts, saved as .MID files, and reused in Styles, Pads, or edited further. Grooves may also be saved as a Sound or Drum Kit, letting you assign sliced samples to drum families and build your own custom groove-based Styles.
