The PreSonus StudioLive 32R Digital Rack Mixer packs four roles into a compact 2U format: standalone digital mixer, stage box for StudioLive Series III consoles, monitor mixer, and a 64x64 USB audio interface for studio integration. Built around the PreSonus FLEX DSP Engine, it delivers 40 mixing channels, 22 mix buses, 270 processors, and Fat Channel plug-ins on every channel and bus for flexible, studio-grade control in live and recording environments. Its mixing architecture is designed for serious routing and workflow flexibility. You can configure 16 FlexMixes as auxes, subgroups, or matrix mixes, while four effects buses provide reverb and delay without affecting monitor mixes. Four subgroups help streamline processing, and 24 DCAs keep larger sessions organized and responsive. The 64x64 USB interface supports multitrack recording and instant playback with one-button operation and no routing required. The StudioLive 32R also supports wireless mix control via Universal Control on iPad, Android, or Windows Touch, and can connect with EarMix 16M personal mixers for expanded monitor management. A firmware update adds Milan certification, an improved limiter with variable release, expanded Digital Reverb XL controls and presets, plus additional State Space Models EQs and analog-inspired compressors installed standard.
